In episode 7 of Chronicle: The Rangers Journey, we look back on 1999-01 when Dick Advocaat went from building on his dominant debut treble winning season by continuing his side’s domestic superiority in 1999-00 before the wheels completely fell off the season after as Rangers fell far short as new Celtic manager Martin O’Neill built his side to halt Advocaat’s dominance. We also look at the end of 2001 which saw a new training ground, the start of the EBT scheme which led to the eventual financial catastrophe and the departure of Advocaat in December.
