We meet Pawan Rashid, who reveals he served with Dando Llewelyn in Afghanistan, before returning to work at Menscus. Dando contacts him and asks his help on a new but top secret mission, code name Project Sultan.

The first steps of Project Sultan involves Dando and Hudson Baye.

Pawan meets Dando secretly and tells him of work going on at Meniscus involving the Italian business tycoon Balzani.
