Anne is a writer, sociologist, and award-winning journalist who teaches at London Metropolitan University and has written a number of books including How to Age. She advises us to challenge ageist language because otherwise we internalize it. She notes, "That's the most pernicious form of ageism - the one you impose upon yourself."
