Authors and professors Mary Esselman (46) and Elizabeth Ash Velez (71) are the editors of the recently published book How Did This Happen? Poems for the Not So Young Anymore. They talk about their relationship of many years, their book that is cross-generational by design, and the ways in which their friendship has enriched and nourished them.

The conversations enriched their lives. The show explores a wide range of topics with a diverse mix of guests including authors, artists, activists, and community members.
