LAAK is a mysterious culmination of two good friends from Birmingham in the UK, the duo began playing records back in the mid 90's with their distinct productions following not long after.

Their sound is a blend of deep melodic Techno influenced by US House, laying the foundations for their label "Austere Recordings’’, established in 2010.

LAAK sit behind 5 of the 6 releases, soon to be accompanied by Irish duo, Slowburn, with an upcoming split record together.

LAAK has also released on well respected labels such as Appian Sounds, Rough House Rosie, Monochromatic, Contrast-Wax, Sublevel and with a new Ep "Our Ways' to be out mid September on Malcolm Moore's, Altered Moods.
