Up for the 92nd podcast is a special one for your enjoyment with Chris Lyth aka Jacksonville at the helm for the episode. Yorkshire born and getting out playing live across Europe for the past decade, Jacksonville is helping lead the new generation of spontaneous and live performance in dance and electronic music. Operating on a nice compact but versatile hardware rig on the go, allows him to really spread his wings and move dancefloors in new and exciting ways. Chris's career spans back the mid-nineties when he produced and remixed for various labels. A veteran in producing and releasing his own music under various names has led to landing music on a list of respected and beloved labels worldwide like Thug, Hobbes Music, 20:20 Vision, Hizou, Plastic City, Leftroom, Shanti, Inner Shift and Dan Curtin's pioneering Metamorphic among others.

For a glimpse into his most recent work check out the FON EP on Hobbes Music and the newly released track named Elektra on the Sextant pt.2 EP featured on the Swiss label Unruh. He also ran his own labels with Doppler and Advance labels in the past. He also spends time writing a sound production column for IDJ and can be found in the tech booth at the Bongo, where he's one of the resident engineers. With over 30+ releases over the past 20+ years his well-rounded experience has grown to the strong demand for his live performances. His live sound is a mix of various genres all tied to moving your feet and your mind. House and techno are the over-arching styles but there is so much more to describe that you will hear for yourself in this live set.
