Sheriff Chuck Jenkins was born in Frederick County and graduated high school in 1974. After 16 years in the communication satellite industry, he went through Harford County Law Enforcement Academy and in 1990 became employed by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Department. In 1993 Jenkins became a criminal investigator, and according to his bio that was a very good thing for him, and he was inspired to go on and do a lot of other stuff.
Jenkins’ pet issue is illegal immigration, which boggles the mind. Newsflash: Maryland is not a border state. He is heading the 287G program in cooporation with Federal ICE officials, detaining illegal aliens charged with crimes, for deportation.
