Chuck Miller Speaks Up About His Online Dating Book
Author of Discovering Love Online: Love May Be Closer Than You Think, architect and founder of indie publishing house Propeller Cap, LLC and a former singles ministry director, Chuck Miller brings a diverse career background and nearly four decades of experience as a journalist, editor, publisher and pastor to his written portfolio.
Chuck’s literary creations span technology to theology, while as a leader he gained extensive experience in Christian ministry filling numerous volunteer and vocational roles. He served on pastoral staff at several churches, invested over 20 years working with single adults of all ages and assisted as a facilitator in grief recovery support groups. His educational achievements include certifications in graphic art and photography, and Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Divinity degrees.
As a young adult, Chuck dated “religiously” through the conventional dating venues of the day. And, following a twelve-year quest for love and companionship, he enjoyed nearly 23 years of marriage before his first wife died of cancer.
After a season of healing, Chuck engaged in a four-year stint of dating the “old-fashioned” way. When that proved unproductive, he decided it was time to investigate the online alternative. As a result, Chuck and his lovely sweetheart, Deb, met on eHarmony in 2014 and married the following year.
Chuck and Deb Miller live south of Cleveland, Ohio with her daughter, Carol. When Chuck’s not taking a break from his daily routine to photograph nature and other subjects that pique his creativity, you’ll find him working from home authoring books, writing blog posts, creating book covers and designing websites.

Originally established as a provider of select editorial services shortly after the turn of the millennium in 2003, Propeller Cap was relaunched as an independent publisher in 2017. Today’s offerings include digital properties and books in both ebook and print formats. Discovering Love Online: Love May Be Closer Than You Think by Chuck Miller and its companion website were the first projects to be released by Propeller Cap, launched at the beginning of 2018. Just published in November 2018, also by Chuck Miller, is a shorter work, The Do’s and Don’ts of Successful Online Dating. The next two projects currently under development are the author’s personal platform and another book offering a collection of great date ideas for couples.
