It is likely you have heard of at least one kind of cryptid before. The most famous ones include Sasquatch, Yeti,  mothman, are generally speaking cryptids are obscure animals that some people believe to exist somewhere in the world. Even thugh their existence has not yet been scientifically proven. People who study cryptids are called cryptozoologists, though this expertise is considered pseudoscience by the mainstream scientific community.
