Many Christians neglect the study of Church history because it is "post-Bible," and not considered on the same level of Scripture. However, even though the Bible reveals the Word of God to humanity, understanding the ways Scripture has unfolded into, and impacted, the 2000+ years of Christian history is extraordinarily valuable to all Christians and churches, regardless of denominational affiliation.

This episode marks the first in an eventual "suite" of podcasts covering all of those 2000+ years. Bo and Allen talk about the significant events, teachings, and people that impacted the early development of the Christian church from a powerful movement in Jerusalem to a tradition of faith that spread like wildfire throughout the entire Roman Empire.
