Pastor Ryan concludes our "Chutes and Ladders" with a look at Jesus meeting Peter in one of his lowest points. Jesus has been killed. Worse, Peter had denied him not 1 time. Not 2. 3 TIMES. Now he is back to his old job (fishing), and he isn't very good at it (no fish had been caught). This is a context ripe with opportunity for pity, shame, frustration, panic, anger, etc. Yet, Jesus uses this opportunity to reconnect with an old friend. To reiterate Peter's purpose. To restore their relationship.
