"Ciao Bambino," the debut film by Edgardo Pistone, set in the Rione Traiano neighborhood of Naples, tells the story of Attilio, an adolescent confronting the harsh reality of his community. The film, awarded at the Rome Film Festival, uses a desaturated black and white palette and authentic Neapolitan dialect to paint a raw and realistic portrait of adolescence in a challenging environment.
