Mo Egger, host on ESPN 1530 in Cincinnati, joins Next Up to discuss the Cincinnati Bengals trading running back Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans. Mixon was expected to be released after the Bengals signed free agent running back Zack Moss. The trade comes after the Texans lost their prior starting running back Devin Singletary who signed a three-year, $16.5 million deal with the New York Giants. "I think it's good for all sides," Egger said. The Texans offered a conditional 7th round pick for Mixon. "It beats [getting Mixon in] free agency." Egger says the Bengals signed Moss because he is "younger" and "cheaper," and he believes Mixon's "best years are behind him." Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade after he was franchise-tagged; however, Egger says "the Bengals do not want to trade him."
