CineKyle brings you a list of recommended films to find on various streaming platforms.
This week on CineMillennials, the guys are having a little fun and talking the Austin Powers trilogy.
Sir Ridley Scott has put himself back in the news with some hot takes and a new film, The Dog Stars. CineKyle and Benver the Mile High Movie Guy decided this would be a great time to discuss his filmography and create a top 10. Who better to join the CineMillennials on this venture than an actual Brit, so they have welcomed Morgan from the Hall of Film back to the podcast!
I don't think anybody reads these things but this week's episode is a continuation of last week's. Much like the movies we are covering, the episode feels like a bad copy/paste job. Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and Diamonds Are Forever are the main subject points.
This week the CineMillennials go all the way back to the 1960s to discuss the debut of James Bond in cinema. They cover Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and Goldfinger in what will eventually be a two-part episode that covers all of the Sean Connery iterations of the character.
CineKyle and Benver the Mile High Movie Guy take on their most controversial comedy yet, Tropic Thunder. The film was written and directed by Ben Stiller who also starred in the film alongside an all star cast featuring the likes of Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McCounaghey and many others. The CineMillennials love it, but will you?
THIS IS A FULL SPOILER EPISODE!
If you haven't seen the film yet please don't let CineMillennials ruin it for you! Paul joins CineKyle for a "short" conversation on the main themes and events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and what it means for the franchise going forward.
In this week's episode, CineKyle is joined by Paul aka Darth the Wise to explore the evolution of Spider-Man in film, from Tobey Maguire to Tom Holland, and analyze what makes the character timeless and relevant for the millennial generation. They also discuss the impact of the MCU, key villains, and the importance of storytelling when rebooting a beloved hero. The main focus films are Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home but in typical CineMillennial fashion the conversation goes all over the franchise.
