In today's episode Danielle connects with Katie Kramer about the importance of voting in the upcoming election.
Katie Kramer is the policy director for Violence Free Minnesota - the coalition to end relationship abuse. In her role, she provides legislative advocacy - from the state Capitol in Saint Paul to Congress in Washington, DC - that works to ensure that policies and legislation promote victim/survivor safety and autonomy, and creates a more safe and equitable Minnesota. Katie also works with CIC as a volunteer with her therapy dog Rascal, and assists with development work for CIC. Katie completed undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Women's Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and a Master's degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
