Normal means I won’t have an impressive enough moment to change the world.
Believing that normal disqualifies us from making a difference
A piece of what it means to be alive and human dies
How do everyday normal people live a life that counts?
Everyone has a God-given “orbit” of people they influence.
Circles are where our normal influence can change the world.
Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach
Mark 3:13-14
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Matthew 28:18-19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
Matthew 28:18-19
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
We are God’s plan to bring Heaven on Earth.
Our presence, not our power has the greatest influence.
Prayer helps us see the grand in the grind.
Ignoring our everyday circles waiting for some extraordinary circumstance causes us to miss out on a life that counts.
