No one wants to miss out on a life that counts!
We wait for some important moment to be impressive.
Our circles are where we live a life that counts!
Calls for the United States Public Health system to spearhead national efforts to combat the epidemic of loneliness.
Now, according to new, confirmatory data, more than half of U.S. adults (58%) are considered lonely.
The person who feels like she or he matters is someone who feels SEEN and HEARD by others who are valuing them.
We feel uncared for when we’re unseen and unheard.
We’re more interested in being heard than in hearing. And that’s a problem.
Average person listens with 25% efficiency
We’ll miss out on a life that counts if we can’t genuinely listen to others.
Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.
But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
Listening requires we show up
It’s not moving lips that convince, it’s a listening heart that shows we care.
A life that counts requires us to hear others in a way that makes them feel valued.
