Sermon Notes
“Normal” means I won’t have a singular moment to change the world.
Everyone has a God-given “orbit” of people they influence.
Acts of Kindness make the invisible love of God visible.
“Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you. Clearly, you are a letter from Christ…
showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.”
“What you believe determines how you behave.”

“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”
“Kindness is Love in action.”

“Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.”
“But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit…
He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.”
“Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day —about 3,000 in all.
“For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized . And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.”
