For more than a year on this show we have been getting calls from security guards complaining about the bad treatment they get from their employers. Things like delay in salaries, abuse by staff members at places they are employed to guard. One of them even called complaining about nurses at a hospital sending them to buy food for them. Seems like their cries fall on deaf ears as they can be fired anytime by their employers should they raise their voices. Many of these companies are registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority. They are the body that oversees the industry and we brought them in studio today to deal with complaints from security guards and also to talk about how they deal with complaint from guards and members of the public.
