Antaraa Vasudev is the Founder at Civis. In this episode of 'Understanding the Future of Citizens in Policy Development', with Antaraa Vasudev, we explore the process of policy development and role of citizen engagement.

In this episode, we start the conversation with understanding the process of policy development and how can citizens engagement be made more accessible. We further discuss gaps and challenges between policy development and communities. Additionally, she shares a 5 step policy process function in the government ecosystem. Also, we discuss ways to aggregate information as well as ways to disseminate the same. Further, we discuss the requirement of capacity building on both sides of the ecosystem and how technology helps in consultation processes. We also discuss about the biases in the consultation process and the micro and macro scale of policy development. At last, she helps us understand the skillsets required in policy development considering both government and citizens perspective.
