Incumbent M. Lorena González is being challenged for her citywide seat on the Seattle City Council (Position 9) by small business owner and South Seattle community advocate Pat Murakami. González says she wants to keep her job so she can continue to advocate for immigrants and refugees and lead the council's efforts on police reform.
