ಪ್ರಚಲಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಆನಂದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಭಯವೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇಂತಹ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಾಧಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಬಹುದು.

ದೀಪ ಮಾತಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅದರ ಬೆಳಕು ದೀಪದ ಪರಿಚಯ ನೀಡುತ್ತೆ. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇರಿ, ಅದೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಚಯ ನೀಡುತ್ತೆ.  ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ – ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಲು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು? ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ‘ಕಾಲು ಎಳೆಯುವುದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎಳೆಯಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು. ಇದೇ ಜೀವನ! ಸೋಲು ಗೆಲವು ಅನ್ನೋದು ಓಡು ತ್ತಿರುವ ಎರಡು ಕಾಲುಗಳಂತೆ, ಬದಲಾಗೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಸೆಕೆಂಡ್ ಸಾಕು.
