As we enter the final stretch of 2025, many of us carry mixed emotions. Today’s message “Shifting From Shame” brings us into John 4:5–30 and the story of the Samaritan woman, someone carrying not just pain that happened to her but also the mess created by her own choices. She came to the well hiding from people, weighed down by broken relationships and shame she couldn’t outrun.Yet Jesus met her right in the middle of it.He didn’t avoid her story. He revealed it with compassion. He showed her that even the parts she caused, the mistakes she made, and the patterns she couldn’t break were not too much for Him. One encounter shifted everything. Her shame turned into boldness, her silence into testimony, and her mess became a message that reached an entire town.
