Hello everyone and welcome back to episode 136. In this episode, Patrick welcomes Robert Galinsky. Robert is an author, speaker and performer who works with incarcerated youth at Rikers Island to motivate them and encourage them to seek a better future and to help reduce recidivism. His work, through a program called Literacy for Incarcerated Teens, is motivating youth inmates to improve their lives both inside and outside of jail. Robert gives us a glimse inside youth corrections and also shares successes he has seen along the way. An informative interview with a great advocate for children, and change agent for youth corrections.
