I hope you are all watching Claim to Fame, if not you need to be (Wednesday nights on ABC at 8pm central, streaming on Hulu). If you are watching you will know my next guest, Danny, aka Nael Zayas. Danny is a very kind and funny guy, who played a great game this season. Side note, he needs to apply for The Traitors, I think he would do very well. We were actually chatting before the interview was scheduled, found out he did his research and is a whiskey and Coke kind of guy and was excited to see what cocktail I chose for his episode. I wanted something with whiskey, but also a bit of spice for his Claim to Fame, the Salsa King himself, Marc Anthony. Hope you all enjoy the interview as much as I did.


Blood Orange Jalapeño Whiskey Cocktail 

(rackhousewhickeyclub.com): 

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. whiskey or bourbon
  • 2 oz. blood orange juice or fresh citrus juice of your choice
  • ½-1 oz. agave syrup (to taste)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 4 oz. IPA beer

    • Directions

    1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
    2. Add juice, whiskey, agave syrup, and jalapeño, and shake well.
    3. Strain cocktail into an ice-filled glass, add beer, and stir.


      4. Claim to Fame Drinking Game:

      Drink when...

      • there's a cringeworthy moment.
      • you guessed wrong.
      • a guesser was wrong.
      • a contestant goes off on a rant.
      • you figure out a clue.
      • you see the Voto Booth.
