Claire worked for Deutsche Bank for 11 years, including the Equity Trading desk for 7 years. As one of a handful of women in a revenue-generating role, on the largest trading floor in Europe, Claire would trade hundreds of millions of dollars every day She experienced the unravelling of the 2008 Financial Crisis first hand. In 2013 Claire moved to establish the European Coverage team for Financial Institutions for the Transaction Banking division. Whilst on maternity leave, she was promoted to be Director of the bank and undertook the examinations to join Mensa. She also actively promoted both STEM subjects and Women in Banking at universities; mentored young women in Deutsche Bank; and was part of the award-winning Social Enterprise “Stemettes” In 2016, Claire moved to Perth, giving up her career in Banking. She turned down offers in Finance and Management Consulting to establish and manage Chematek distribute the Eni (previously known as Agip) lubricants across Australia. Eni is the largest company in Italy with over $100 billion revenue. Claire has a Masters degree in Engineering (specialising in Mechanical), during which she was sponsored by the Ministry of Defence.

Claire is also Executive director of a kids sports organisation called ‘Jungle Sports’. She is responsible for strategic business planning to build partnerships, grow relationships and implement expansion into new markets.
