Claire Thomas is a photojournalist hailing from Carmarthenshire but now travelling the world capturing images that document human rights issues and conflict zones.
Self-taught, Claire's photography has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic Magazine, Geographical Magazine and Al Jazeera English.
Claire is one of a rare breed of young female photojournalists working in dangerous conflict zones such as the Middle East and Palestine.
Ffoton welcomed the opportunity to meet her during a short visit back in Wales before setting off for assignments in Iraq.
