Time to lighten up the podcast with probably the most famous duck of all time. Voice impressions by Clarence Nash made an impression on Walt Disney that resulted in Nash voicing Donald Duck in cartoons and films for 51 years. He became a regular performer on TV commercials and USO bond rallies. Clarence even voiced the duck in foreign languages. He also played Gracie’s pet duck, Herman, on the Burns and Allen Show. His voice was heard in the films “Pinocchio,” “Bambi” and “101 Dalmatians.” His final performance was “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” Of course we’ll put him to work in this podcast, including an unusual singing bit.
