The Corinthian church, like the western church today, had a real problem with how to have and keep Godly relationships. Their highly sexualized culture clashed with the new level of righteousness found in Christ that left the topic of relationships complicated. Paul provides some practical guidance how to navigate this topic while fulfilling their call in the body of Christ.
