Welcome to the Class is in Session- Life is the Curriculum Podcast, in this eposide we are remembering advice and lessons we were given along the way in our lives.
Remember when they used to tell us, “You can’t be everything to everybody”? I heard the lesson. Life
made me understand it. “Who Told You It Was Yours?” is one of The Stories I Lived - and this week I
am telling the life underneath the lyrics before I let you hear the track. We will hear the sample track - WHO TOLD YOU IT WAS YOURYOURS from my upcoming Winter Freshman album which releases on December 21, 2026.

For years, I could get things done. Two jobs, motherhood, homeownership, bills, responsibilities and being the person people
Music had followed me for most of my life, from my father's DJ business to the silent-headphone experiences I later created through my own event-planning work. But adulthood changed what I needed from music. Jobs, motherhood, a mortgage, bills, loss and responsibility had become part of the life I was carrying. In this episode of Class Is in Session, I share why going back to the '80s and '90s could take me somewhere familiar, but could not fully meet the woman I had become. That realization eventually became You Made It Here, Track 01 from my upcoming Winter Freshman album, releasing December 21, 2026.
How long have you been preparing for something you may already be ready to begin? In this episode of the We Are Gardens™ Podcast, Gloria D. Cassell explores the Spring principle of Begin and the difference between being prepared and waiting for certainty.Sometimes preparation is necessary. Other times, preparation becomes a comfortable place to remain because taking the first step feels uncertain.Through the Four Seasons of Alignment™, we explore what beginning can look like in real life: submitting the application, making the phone call, opening the document, having the conversation, researching the opportunity, or simply taking one responsible next step. You don’t have to see the entire path. You don’t have to know the outcome. And you certainly don’t need proof of the harvest before honoring the seed.Prepare • Begin • Plant • NurtureJust tend to the week you’re in.Discover Your Season™Not sure which season you're currently in?Join Discover Your Season™ Live and access the We Are Gardens™ assessment to discover whether you're currently in Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall and receive guidance that fits where you are.Discover Your Season™ Live & Assessment

What are you finally ready to say RIP to?
Exhaustion? Uncertainty? Stagnation? Or receiving a harvest and realizing you never learned how to steward it?
In this episode of Glo's Lessons from the Garden Podcast, Gloria Cassell gets personal about the lived experiences behind each of these struggles.
From working multiple jobs and drinking coffee and energy drinks just to keep going, to wondering why she was always the “jack of all trades and master of none,” to experiencing business growth but not knowing how to sustain it, and even receiving a harvest she admits she didn't always steward well.
These aren't simply things Gloria teaches.
She's lived them.
And through those experiences, she eventually learned how to live differently.
This episode is an invitation to recognize yourself somewhere within her story and consider what you may finally be ready to put to rest so you can begin flourishing differently.
Because sometimes the first step isn't doing more.
It's recognizing where you are.

Remember...
You were created to do more than survive. You were created to flourish.
Have you ever felt like life's setbacks have disqualified you from becoming who God created you to be?
In this episode, we're exploring one of the most overlooked lessons in Scripture. In Romans 8, Paul tells us that all creation groans, yet every season, creation continues to show up. Trees still bear fruit. Flowers still bloom. Seeds still become what they were created to be.
What if creation has been teaching us something all along?
Join Gloria D. Cassell as she unpacks how our pain, setbacks, disappointments, and seasons of waiting don't have to define our future. Discover how God's patterns in creation reveal that groaning doesn't cancel purpose, and why your current season is not your final destination.
If creation can faithfully continue in a world that groans, what does that teach us about our own lives?
This episode will encourage you to stop allowing your struggles to define you and begin realigning your life with the Creator's design one season at a time.

Freedom Album track: Come to Me
Do you feel like you're always busy but never making real progress?
Maybe the problem isn't your work ethic.
Maybe it's that you've been trying to live in every season at once.
In this episode, Gloria Cassell explores what creation teaches us about timing, growth, and why flourishing happens when we stop fighting the season we're in. Through biblical principles and lessons from the garden, you'll discover why God never asks creation or us to bloom, harvest, rest, and plant all at the same time.
You'll learn:
Why busyness isn't the same as growth
How creation models faithful stewardship through every season
Why many people keep "digging up their seeds" before growth has a chance to happen
How the Four Seasons of Alignment can help you understand where you are today
Why flourishing begins by faithfully tending the season you're currently in.
