Parshas Yisro

The narrative of the Aseres Hadibros is mentioned twice in the Torah - this week Parshas Yisro, and in the review of the Torah in Parshas Va'eschanan. What is the purpose of the repeat? The themes here are essential and foundational to the entire Torah - so the differentiation of the first Dibros and the final Dibros teach us something unique in the Torah in general. There are many commentaries on the specific differences - which will give us clarity on how each of them informs on the application of both general themes in Torah.
