Teaching in Term 4 is hard enough with report writing, end of year concert etc. and then we have to start thinking about how students are going to be grouped together the following year. In episode 3 we discuss the often frustrating process of class placements and how it can tear normally harmonious staff rooms apart. 
We discuss different ways we have seen it done, what worked, what didn’t and how to make sure that students are at the forefront of our minds, not our own egos.

The Chalk Talk is a podcast where two mates (Matt and Ash) get together and discuss all things related to the world of education. Wilson discusses the thought behind the Play Is The Way program in teaching kids some basic skills and principles to develop much needed Personal and Social capabilities.  Wilson shares how these principles develop the whole child and how this is crucial for skills later in life, including wellbeing, building human connections and rich deep long lasting relationships.
