It’s hard to believe, but September is just a month away, so In It Together is going to spend this week focused on K-12 education.
For many parents, school isn't just where they send their kids to learn - it's what gives them the bandwidth to spend the day focused on their own jobs. But school reopening plans are in limbo as COVID-19 cases tick upwards. Arun Rath hears from a local mom of three, Jennifer Infurna, who thinks all students should be back in class come September.
At the same time, educators are raising concerns about how coronavirus could spread in the classroom. Arun will speak with fifth grade teacher Rose Levine of Cambridge’s Graham and Parks School, who thinks students should stay home for now.
