Stewart welcomes Ford Heacock, Chairman of the Automotive Racing Club of Florida, for a fascinating look at the history of one of America's most celebrated sports car racing venues, Sebring International Raceway.

With decades of involvement at Sebring, Heacock recalls the early days of sports car racing in Central Florida and the ambitious idea of transforming an abandoned World War II military training base, Hendricks Army Airfield, into a permanent road racing circuit comparable to Watkins Glen or Road America. He pays tribute to Alec and Mary Ullman, whose pioneering efforts helped establish Sebring as an international motorsports destination.

Often called "Little Le Mans," Sebring developed its own remarkable racing heritage. Heacock recounts early conflicts with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), the creation of the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring, and the influence of European FIA regulations. He shares the unlikely tortoise-and-hare story of a Crosley Hotshot victory, illustrating how endurance racing could reward reliability over outright speed.

The conversation also explores the darker side of motorsports history, including the devastating 1955 Le Mans disaster that threatened the future of automobile racing. On a lighter note, Heacock recalls an entertaining story involving legendary driver Stirling Moss and his desire for a Coca-Cola in the middle of a race.

Later in the program, Keith Martin of "Sports Car Market" joins Stewart to recount his 2,000-mile adventure in an Alfa Romeo Spider. He also discusses driver awareness, highway safety, and his appreciation and respect for AAA.

Stewart welcomes Kim Barnes, Business Development Manager, Vintage Tires for Michelin North America and "car girl" for a discussion about the differences between modern and vintage tires. From Michelin's pioneering radial tire technology to rolling resistance, handling, ride quality in tire design.  She explains period-correct appearance and what goes into developing tires for classic automobiles.  Plus how tires offer clues to how a vehicle has been maintained.

Kim shares some of her favorite vehicles, including her AMC Gremlin X Levi's Edition, and her desire for a Fiat X1/9. The conversation also covers the upcoming 2026 SEMA Show, the Greenwich Concours and others and recalls meeting Stewart when she was involved in the Monticello (NY) Art in Motion event. Stewart welcomes Prescott Kelly, collector, Porsche enthusiast, journalist and Harvard MBA whose career has included advertising, marketing, and publishing. Prescott talks about his early career, his lifelong appreciation for all types of automobiles, and the marque that became his particular passion: Porsche. With so many models entering the conversation, this episode could almost be called “Porsche by the Numbers.” Prescott also shares another side of his background, including his time as a music promoter in Atlanta and Birmingham and his interest in R&B and blues.

Prescott recalls his introduction to the Porsche Club of America, the purchase of his first Porsche, and the experiences that followed. The conversation ranges from classic and competition Porsches to Jaguars, Corvettes, supercars, hypercars, and race cars. He discusses the experience of “driving in anger,” the Bob Bondurant Racing School, Bridgehampton, Callaway, and some thoughts about alternative fuels and the sometimes eye-opening cost of servicing specialty automobiles.

Among the many Porsche numbers discussed are the 356, 718, 930, 935, 956, 964 and 997.2, along with the Speedster and 911 ST. Prescott also discusses the rare 1984 Porsche 911 SC/RS, with only 21 built. Classic Auto Mall Show #261 — Airdate 09-16-26

Stewart greets Chuck Queener, graphic artist, illustrator and "car guy," who discusses his earliest years near New York City drawing Mickey Mouse, Lady and the Tramp and other Disney characters, then moving on to birds and people before finding his first "sweet spot"—cars, especially RACE CARS.

His story includes his father playing in the Benny Goodman orchestra and much time spent with his mother, who saved a lot of his early work. Also included is his later time in Chicago and Miami and his service in the U.S. Air Force, with stops in Anchorage, Alaska, and eventually March Field in Riverside, California, where he wanted to soak up the sun and car culture. His automotive-art career connects with Peter Brock, ArtCenter College of Design and numerous automotive publications and organizations.

A particularly interesting story involves his purchase of a Ferrari formerly owned by singer Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young for a mere $3,000. The purchase became an adventure, buying it in The Hamptons and driving the Ferrari cross-country back to California. It's a fascinating life, with much of Queener's work available to see on his website and on the CAM YouTube show.

Stewart welcomes John Oates—songwriter, musician, performer, author, auto enthusiast, and former member of the legendary duo Hall & Oates. John talks about growing up in North Wales, Pennsylvania, his early musical influences from rock and roll, jazz, folk, and the Philadelphia music scene. Also discussed are the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Live Aid, and how "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" became part of Hall & Oates' repertoire.

John also shares stories about his home in Colorado and his famous neighbor, Nashville's vibrant music scene, and, of course, his lifelong passion for automobiles. From touring with the band in a Pontiac GTO to buying his first Porsche and discovering why the marque became his "sweet spot" along with the C8 Corvette Z06 and other notable performance cars. 

Hear how he bought a Porsche 930 Turbo that was "reserved" for rod Stewart, attended driving school at Pocono Raceway with a member of the famous Andretti family, participated in the IROC Series, and reveals what he considers the one of the most versatile automobiles.

Later in the program, Keith Martin, publisher of Sports Car Market magazine, joins Stewart to discuss whether collector car values may be headed for a correction, reflect on recent wildfires, recount seeing the aftermath of Mount St. Helens, and explains the meaning of "COBS."
