Happy Thanksgiving from Front Row Classics! Classic film fans around the world are celebrating Noirvember. This week, we're discussing one of the most unique film noirs to come out of Hollywood, Leave Her to Heaven. Brandon and Eric welcome back author and film historian, Sloan De Forest, to discuss this psychological thriller. Filmed in beautiful Technicolor, Leave Her to Heaven was 20th Century Fox's highest grossing film of the entire decade of the 1940s. Much of the film's success is due to the chilling performance of Gene Tierney in her only Oscar-nominated role.
We're incredibly thankful for all of the support we have received throughout 2022. Thank you so much for keeping the conversation on classic film alive.
