CW: Sexual assault/police brutality/racism
15 year old Claudette Colvin made history when she refused to give up her seat on a crowded Alabama bus - 9 months before Rosa Parks did the same thing. She sparked the Montgomery bus boycot which led to the end of segregation on city buses, but was essentially written out of history due to her age, skin colour, and the fact she was a teenage mother. This is her story.
