We discuss her epic international comparative project Journalistic Role Performance, now including researchers from 47 countries. We discuss the project, her commitment to diversify and dewesternize journalism, media and communication studies, and the hybrid, complex and dynamic ways in which journalists 'make it work' around the world today.
