THIS 2nd RAVE CLUB COLOGNE (1988/89)"TRIBUTE" mixed by the former RAVE CLUB resident and Psycho Thrill Cologne founder Claus Bachor. Recorded live at Cologne's 674.fm studios for "SpyInTheHouse" on Monday, November 10th, 2025, with the ORIGINAL BLACK GOLD from back in those '88/'89 dayz only. And where that was actually the only possible way of reconstruction, since the quality of the original MAXWELL tapes was unfortunately so "down" that they could no longer be remastered (the TDK tapes were always better!).

Psycho Thrill founder Claus Bachor warmin' up and emotionally spinnin' the final "ROHBAU x PSYCHO THRILL" at Duesseldorf's now defunct GOLZHEIM / GHM club as well before the club closure in early 2023. Which was generally tragic for the club owner Daniel Fritschi and all club people in the following due to the forced renovation of the Theodor-Heuss-Bridge under which the GHM was located.

Where the original sound recording has been now remastered here at its very best by Cologne's finest Bob Humid, the mix itself gives a clear impression of the concept of Psycho Thrill Cologne in its 33rd year (2024) of existence, representing still Techno & House without any boundaries since 1991. No tracklist available here yet ... but people who know do know!

COLOGNE TECHNO CLUB-CLASSIQUES 1993 - 2005

[nvr based on hype but made by our audience and our club nights what they still are till 2day]

Still no new real "Post-Corona" club life in Germany! And so there is only one more recourse to one of the many 674.fm radio broadcasts hosted by Psycho Thrill Cologne. It doesn't always have to be the obvious "power-hour" peak-time tracks that make the sweat drip from the club's ceiling. In his mix for the NACHTAKTIV collective in Cologne, Claus Bachor deliberately uses the category of tracks that DJs and vinyl nerds often only discovered for themselves at the second attempt and then made a club hit.

Trackwerk that is no less hypnotic and just as natural at the end of the day, mesmerizing and hypnotizing every dancer and continue to do so. Nor should it go unmentioned that all of these tracks played here had and still have their not insignificant impact on Cologne/Rine area club life in the past as well as today. This applies in particular to clubs such as Ballhaus (Bonn), 42dp, Artheater, Kitt Klub, Sensor Club, Studio672/Stadtgarten and, subsequently, the Psycho Thrill BNKR (all Cologne) and, to this day, the GHM/Golzheim in Düsseldorf. 4 the rest of this story let that music do the "talkin'".

STROM TON Cologne impresario Stefan Eul invited the Psycho Thrill CGN boss-man and radio colleague Claus Bachor especially for the 3rd anniversary of his 674.fm broadcast. And he played nothing but a consistently slammin' BreakBeat/ HiTechFunk/ House set on the cutting edge of TECHNO, that Cologne/Düsseldorf club aficionados otherwise got or get to hear in the legendary BNKR, on the BangTech12 rooftop of the Detroit Bookie's or currently in pandemic free times at the Golzheim Club in Düsseldorf. Not really a surprise, but definitely the appropriate sound framework for everyone who feels committed to the real Techno underground. In addition, the whole thing "handmade" only from vinyl and without compromises.
