Clay Hunt is the author of the chapbooks Born Shane from Two Key Customs and Young When the Sun Went Down from Budget Press, from which these poems are taken. Reared in Modesto, California, he now studies English at UC Berkeley and lives in the Bay Area. He has works forthcoming in several journals.
