You have influence as a man. You influence your family, church and community. You touch the lives of others all around you. You will influence your family for generations into the future and impact your children and grandchildren.
You can be a man your family, children, and grandchildren will be proud of or a man they don't respect and end up resenting. Your legacy will be remembered, and you have the opportunity to make an impact. Choose to be clean.
Kill your lust. Kill the seeds of lust as soon as possible and don't let the seeds grow into trees. Then you can fulfill God's plan for you and inherit all that God has in store for you.
We have this rule where we "don't ask, don't tell." I won't ask you about what you are doing when you're alone or looking at pornography or when you're around that girl at work. Just don't ask me about my struggles and what I am dealing with.
The don't ask, don't tell rule damages our relationships. By not telling others and keeping them accountable, we are allowing our brothers and sisters to live in guilt, shame, and fear. Church leaders fall because of it. Families are destroyed by it. Don't fall for the same trap because you are limiting your success by following it.
Don't ask, don't tell is not something we can tolerate anymore. This secrecy allows us to dwell on lust, lets unclean thoughts grow and is not what we need to do as Christians.
