We talked here while back about how bullies are often paper tigers built up by fear in our minds.  In a similar vein, things said and done to us often have a much greater effect on us than they should.  As we’ve repeated many times in life, remember the bumper sticker, “Stuff happens,” or some variation of it.  Take a listen to hear the rest of the story.
