Soul Soup, Dr. Janette Freeman
The negative experiences that you have been through could be holding you back. You may not even be aware of it or if you are aware, you could feel stuck in a cycle. This talk, then powerful PROCESS will do a CLEARING to help you release the past for good!
Episode Notes:
Here are three important elements that help us to let go:
1. Acceptance of what is for now. When we can accept the past unconditionally (see steps 1 and 2) then we can let it go. Accepting something unconditionally doesn't mean that we accept that it was good or even socially or personally acceptable, but it is accepting that something happened. You can allow the past to be what it was and release it. We can't change the past, we can only learn from the past and move forward. When we can accept things how they are, we can make new choices from a more intelligent and present state of mind.
2. Get the gift. Is it possible to harvest some good out of the situation, maybe its just a lesson that you got that will help you not to have that again. What did you learn, what can you get from this that is for your benefit?
3. Let go of blame. If they (or you) could've done better they (and you) would have. No body's perfect and when we can let go of blame and forgive (self and others) we can move on.
