Ashlee from Macabre Maidens Metalcast and Kevin from the Jesus Unfollower Podcast and online community join the conversation for our first deep dive into religious discourse.Despite our nun-themed podcast, we've surprisingly waited until now to tackle such a poignant topic. Together, we explore Sister Bella, Ashlee, and Kevin’s religious backgrounds and the pivotal moments that led them to leave their respective faith systems and churches. We delve into the subjects of religious trauma, faith-based guilt and fear, and the liberating experience of living without the constraints of organized religion.Kevin also sheds light on his vibrant online community of atheists, agnostics, and fellow Jesus unfollowers, offering a supportive space for those navigating life post-religion. And for a touch of humor, we wrap up our discussion with some surprisingly risqué Bible verses.Whether you're post-religion or seeking a community of like-minded individuals, this episode is a must-listen. Tune in for an honest, heartfelt, and occasionally humorous conversation about finding freedom and community beyond faith.

Greetings, my beloved flock! This is Sister Ash, here to guide you through another divine episode of Clergy Talk. Today, Sister Bella and I had the heavenly pleasure of conversing with the enigmatic Brendan McGowan. Greetings, congregation! Your curious nun hosts Sister Ash and Sister Bella were skeptical about discussing a demonic, dark, evil subject such as the band "Ghost" with guest Bethy Ann... They will certainly need to visit the confessional booth after this!
