With Clerks 3 coming out, there’s no better time to dig into the original Clerks from 1994.  Kevin Smith had his pulse on the twenty-somethings of America and released his super low budget independent film at the Sundance Film Festival at the right place and right time.  Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson killed it as Dante and Randal Graves and Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith created iconic long-running characters.
