The Cleveland Browns have reached a major milestone in their plan to build a new domed stadium in Brook Park, Ohio. Crews recently began large-scale excavation at the construction site, marking the first visible phase of what is expected to become one of the largest development projects in Northeast Ohio.

The project, estimated to cost $2.4 billion, will create a modern indoor stadium designed to host football games, major concerts, and large national sporting events. Team officials say the facility is expected to open in time for the 2029 NFL season.
