Yo...the temperature is dropping as we ease into Fall so it looks like yet again Canadian children are gonna hafta wear jackets over their Halloween costumes. That’s a significant childhood disappointment that just doesn’t heal right.
So...on this attached episode of MSL: Space Station Oddity Stephanie and I get into Clickbait on Netflix. Family man Nick Brewer is abducted and suddenly appears in a viral video holding up 2 signs: Sign #1: I Abuse Women and...chillingly Sign #2: At 5 Million Views I Die.
Well of course that’s enough “evidence” for the kangaroo court of public opinion to judge a stranger. Idiots. But the people who know Nick Brewer...his wife, his sister...they have questions. And so does the police. And so do reporters although this is called Clickbait. And finally Nick’s two sons have questions.
It’s difficult to talk about this limited series without giving away too much; you can hear us struggle. See it for yourself and let us know what you think.
It will leave you the viewer with…questions.
That’s all I gotta say...let’s get into a Fresh Friday Fall playlist and drop some fresh beats shall we?
The Wombats - Method To The Madness but! This is The Jungle Giants Remix. For some reason The Wombats remixes are better than the originals. Plus this sounds a lot...like a lot like New Order which makes my 80s heart happy. (Another excellent Wombats remix is the Roosevelt Remix of If You Ever Leave, I'm Coming with You. Oh that’s comforting.)
Eternia & Rel McCoy’s Most PPL is the single from her new album Free out today. Fellow friend and rapper Jon Corbin says about Eternia: “She is a physical force on the mic, with lyrics of disarming honesty. You always get the real with Eternia. Cop the new record.” Well said.

Game hasn't changed, same ol' monopolySame couple players own all of the propertyI ain't a prop, don't give no props to meMy people still don't eat properly
Well he’s back...his new album Tao will be out October 1st. And he’s still spitting hot fire. Here’s Body (No Reason).
I really enjoyed her Tiny Desk so here is studio recorded Yebba: All I Ever Wanted. (heh is that Baby Yebba...all cute...and uncomfortable? I feel like all babies kind of look like this...like they got shoved into a duffle bag. Spread out and take up space in this world, yo!) Mark Ronson...yes...oooo I enjoy the dreamy conclusion of this song. Excellent addition to your Fall playlist.
Nobody Scared...I assume will end up on a playlist in a hip café.
William Shatner's autobiographical album Bill is out today. Check out Thunder and Fire from it. Not as fun as his previous album Has Been (highly recommended!) but still a delight. Long live Captain Kirk!
Finally: Chemicals. Spacey lyrics video. Some sonic warmth to evict the Fall chill.
Start there and over time we’ll slowly fill out a formidable Fall playlist.
