Professor Roslyn Gleadow, School of Biological Sciences spoke to the program about the biological impacts of climate change in the wake of COP 26. “Climate change is here and is already affecting our ability to feed everyone, the nutritional quality of plants and their interactions with animals (including us), human health and biodiversity, bush fire risks,” Professor Gleadow said. “COP26 is a rallying point. It is the last chance to reduce the damage to our future food supply, and preserve biodiversity. The risk of not doing so is unthinkable.”
