This is what the Rainman thinks when he hears about a current weather event being described as the worst since a similar event which occurred xyz years ago. Maybe his logic is wrong but doesn't that just mean that climate change is cyclical and that we are just living through a cycle of climate that was going to occur with or without outside influences (read human influence).
