"Climb an Alternative Peak": Jamie MoCrazy, Former Pro Freestyle Skier and Resilience Advocate

Listen Later

Jamie Crane-Mauzy, a/k/a Jamie MoCrazy, had the world on a string. As an Extreme slopestyle and halfpipe skier, she had won the Junior World Championships at age 18, and was the first woman in the world to ever land a double back flip at X-Games. While touring with the X-Games, she suffered a horrific accident in April of 2015, paralyzing half of her body and knocking her into a coma. In this extraordinary interview, Jamie shares how she had to learn how to do everything again, including walking and learning the English language, and how her message of personal resilience and "climbing an alternative peak" is inspiring audiences worldwide.
