Director and actor Clint Eastwood discusses his latest critically acclaimed film Gran Torino. Eastwood directed the film and plays Walt Kowalski, a Korean War veteran who has two objects important to him: the 1972 Gran Torino and his M1 Garand from the Korean War. The film started a limited release in North America on December 12, 2008, and had its wide release on January 9, 2009 when it soared to #1 at the box office that weekend.
